The Gift of Peace and Healing Light

A few weeks ago, I was talking with a friend, and we were discussing various ways to get through the busy holiday season with grace and sanity, and I suggested that she try this meditation technique - in that classic way that we all feel like the tools we have in our professional toolbox are familiar to anyone. She was not familiar with it, so I decided I would record it for her.

I just recorded it today and thought it would be perfect for anyone, so am sharing it as my blog today. This is a 10 minute meditation designed to bring you peace and healing energy and to create a sanctuary around yourself so that you can remain calm even when things outside of yourself get less than calm. A great tool for anytime, but particularly now as we are busy seeing friends and family and maybe taking on too much. Especially if you feel that there is no way you have time for this, I invite you to take 10 minutes to do this meditation. It might help line up the rest of your day! It is designed to be done with the eyes closed, but I recorded it up at the West Hartford reservoir in case you prefer to meditate with your eyes open and the gaze soft!
